Mission Statement

Paranormal Science Lab investigates paranormal activity in and around the Joplin, Missouri area. We have conducted investigations in southwest Missouri, Northeast Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas. PSL does not charge a fee for its services. PSL members are not paid for their participation and all expenses are incurred at the expense of our members.


Our philosophy is that we do not assume unexplained experiences, whether sensory, visual or auditory are paranormal in nature. We approach these experiences with the assumption that they can be explained by natural or man-made causes. Only if we are unable to duplicate the experiences or demonstrate a man-made or natural cause, do we conclude that there may be a paranormal cause.


Our goal is to present possible evidence of paranormal activity which is convincing to the skeptic. We will also present evidence which could be taken as paranormal in nature and explain why that assumption is in error.

PSL generally investigates in a 50 mile radius of Joplin, Missouri. However, if you would like PSL to conduct an investigation for you and you are outside that radius, please email us to inquire if we are able to come to your location
